Molding Process Technician 1

Overview

Molding Process Technician: Start-Up, operate, and troubleshoot thermoplastic and LSR injection molding production equipment and processes to complete work orders.Position requires higher levels of plastic and silicone transformation technical skill sets and abilities to perform specialized manufacturing processes, including fairly advanced practices, procedures, concepts, or principles. Consistently apply Lean tools and techniques to identify and solve operational problems and measurably improve processes.

You are responsible for

  • Molding Process Technician: Operate thermoplastic and LSR injection molding machines, all auxiliary equipment, and processes in order to produce molded finished goods.

  • Assist in mold setup and troubleshooting of molding equipment to keep molding injection processes running.

  • Assist in mold validation activities.

  • Optimize the process of the molded parts and reduce cost

  • Improve machine availability and reduce line down

  • It ensures that the production plan is met to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Work within multidisciplinary teams, inform and keep good relations.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

•High school 9th degree completed

  • Plastic process technician and precision mechanics certification froma technical institution or equivalent training.

•Considerable experience (1+ years) as a Moldingtechnician.

•Demonstrated basic English level

  • Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel).

  • Desirable demonstrated knowledge and understanding of GMPs, FDA regulations, Quality

  • System Regulations (QSR), ISO 13485 requirements and Japan regulations.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This role is an onsite role/Shift B

Monday thru Friday from3:36 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Saturday From 7:00 a.m. to3:00 p.m.
