Job Information
Philips Data Designer in Amsterdam, Netherlands
Data Designer:
elevate the quality of the insights we get into how people truly use and experience our products. Rather than concentrating on metrics such as retention and adoption, the focus will be on developing new methods for understanding clinical workflows and identifying friction points within them. Additionally, metrics like engagement require a redefinition to be meaningful in the healthcare context. To achieve this, you have the chance to drive end-to-end implementation of UX analytics for products across the Philips portfolio, meaning you are involved in defining objectives, data tracking plans, implementation, analysis and reporting.
Your role:
End-to-end implementation of UX Analytics, to capture meaningful behaviors, user journeys, and experience patterns across multiple products and platforms.
Evangelize product analytics best practices and collaborate with stakeholders to drive a data-informed culture across design and product teams.
Drive design workshops with business stakeholders to identify objectives and define detailed tracking plans.
Provide technical support for integrating analytics across different codebases and architectures, ensuring seamless data collection in web-like, cloud, and on-premises applications.
Build advanced dashboards that translate data into actionable insights, providing clear visibility into user behavior, task success, and clinical workflows.
Present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, making complex data accessible and actionable for business teams.
You're the right fit if:
Proven track-record of 3-5 years of experience in working with industry-grade analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Mixpanel, Pendo, and preferably Amplitude Analytics)
Conceptual understanding on common technical architectures, or willingness to learn, to guide technical implementation.
Hands-on front-end programming skills (e.g. React, Angular, or similar) – to support code instrumentation.
Strong analytical skills with proven ability to work with large datasets, derive insights from telemetry data, and advise on dashboard creation.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week (predominantly in our office in Eindhoven).
