The Global Communications - People Function Communications - Intern
position is a dynamic role within the Global People Communications team. It is focused on delivering high-quality, internal communication to our employees and people leaders across the Philips organization, as well as to employees in our People Function.
The role is pivotal in ensuring efficient and effective communication to these audiences in line with organizational priorities to effectively drive the Philips culture and strategy.
Your role:
Support communication planning : collaborate with relevant stakeholders to support the development of integrated communication plans and briefings
Communication design and development : develop communication content/campaigns in support of key communication objectives and across a range of communications channels and touchpoints (e,g, webcasts, newsletters, intranet, internal social networking, etc.). Create communications that help employees live our culture and that helps keep them informed of important offerings from the People Function.
Measurement and monitoring : monitor the effectiveness and impact of communications across our channels for continuous improvement of our communications.
Stakeholder management : utilize strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders (i.e. in the Philips People Function), influencing decisions and advocating for effective communication strategies.
You're the right fit if:
You are currently studying towards your Master's or Bachelor's degree in Communications or Marketing & Communications
You are creative, have strong written and verbal communication skills and are fluent in oral and written English
You are organized and able to manage multiple projects in a timely manner
You are resilient, have a positive, growth-mindset and you're able handle pressure and deadlines.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This role is an office role.
