Philips Senior Cloud Engineer in Bangalore, India
Job title:
Senior Software Technologist - Cloud
Your role:
Design, Implement and manage the PACS solution on the cloud
Lead the modernization of the current stack to AWS hosted with a phased migration towards a cloud-native architecture
Monitor and optimize the performance and cost of AWS resources.
Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance requirements within the AWS environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues, collaborating with operations teams.
Participate in on-call rotation for critical support.
Document solution configurations and procedures.
Maintain clear documentation of cloud systems and procedures.
You're the right fit if:
Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
10-12 years of experience in application development using C++, C# or Java
4+ years of experience in AWS related technologies
Good understanding of DevOps processes and tools
Knowledge of scripting languages
Strong problem-solving, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Demonstrable experience of working on a team that is geographically dispersed.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
