Philips Software Technologist I in Bangalore, India
Your role:
5 to 9 years of experience in Software development life cycle, with a minimum of 3 years as a UI developer
Proven experience building cloud native systems and architectures (microservices, REST, event driven services)
Solid experience in React & Node.js and Microfrontend design and development
Good knowledge working with API Integration, and Restful Services
Experience in JavaScript UI frameworks like Angular, React single-spa apps, Bootstrap / Responsive design concept, etc
Exposure to cloud deployment models and tools (dockers, Kubernetes etc.)
Good understanding and Exposure to HealthSuite Platforms/AWS and services will be a definite plus
Strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges
Strong desire to learn and work across technology stacks
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface in a cross-disciplinary manner, including engineers, product managers, and clinical specialists
Self-motivated individual with good organizational and time management skills
Familiarity with medical devices and/or working in a regulated environment a plus

Implements the detailed design for Micro services in a standard and efficient way
Implements the detailed design for UI workflow in a standard and efficient way
Unit tests the components developed and reviews other’s implementation
Be able to proactively identify, analyze and resolve complex issues earlier in the development cycle
Must be hands-on and participate in development of applications
Supports in project estimation, planning and risk management activities
Supports the verification and validation team by resolving the issues / defects in a timely manner
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This role is an office role.
