Philips Project Manager - Surgical Robotics in Best, Netherlands

Breakthrough Innovation Teams (BRITE) are the embodiment of Philips' approach to driving breakthrough innovation by accelerating innovation to nurture nascent projects from early innovation stage to full ability to scale. Reporting to the Program Manager – BRITE Robotics, you will support the overall program delivery for the surgical robotics program.

Your role:

  • Lead project management activities with external suppliers and partners, including contracting, on-boarding, budgeting, aligning delivery timelines with overall project timeline, and tracking progress of deliverables

  • Support in maintaining the overall project plan, across functions, with view to scope, timing, budget, resourcing, dependencies

  • Organize and run project planning sessions, team stand-ups, demonstrations, and retrospectives

  • Track project progress against milestones, measure key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring project remains on track, and define and implement new processes as needed

  • Support reporting management cadence, including creation of presentation materials

  • Organization of key project documentation and supporting team in reaching key gates/milestones

  • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that drives creative problem-solving

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 3+ years of experience in project management within the medical device industry, preferably having a PMP certificate.

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Master's degree a plus).

  • Your background includes a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.

  • You have an understanding of project management best practices, including agile methodology.

  • You are able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • You are knowledgeable in Microsoft Project, Teams/PowerPoint/Excel/Word, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

  • You bring a passion for healthcare innovation and a desire to make a positive impact.
