Philips Administration & Payroll Specialist in Bucharest, Romania
As an Administration & Payroll Specialist , you will be part of the Philips People Services team, supporting Philips employees based in Romania and Bulgaria by playing a pivotal role in managing the employee lifecycle, processing payroll and personal data changes, generating employment documentation and reports, and providing comprehensive support to colleagues and managers by liaising with various partners and participating in improvement projects.
Your role:
Manage Employee Lifecycle : Process changes related to new hires, transfers, time and attendance, benefits, and payroll, ensuring compliance with country payroll calendars and global guidelines through accurate data entry into Workday and other HR systems.
Documentation and Reporting : Prepare necessary employment documentation (contracts, leaver letters, certificates) and generate administrative and payroll reports from Workday, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Support and Collaboration : Provide support to the team on complex queries and act as a back-up for daily operations while liaising effectively with People Partners, Reward Partners, People Managers, vendors, and external providers to resolve employee-related issues.
Compliance and Improvement : Perform internal controls according to ICS/SoX standards and participate in regional/global projects to contribute to business process improvements and deliver effective customer solutions.
You're the right fit if:
You are a graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree and possess fluent knowledge of English and Romanian, both orally and in writing.
You have experience in payroll processes and policies, with additional knowledge of HR processes being an asset, alongside familiarity with HR systems like Workday or SAP as a plus.
You are proficient in MS Office applications, detail-oriented, and capable of effectively prioritizing and organizing your workload while multi-tasking.
You demonstrate personal integrity in handling confidential information and can work in a dynamic environment to meet demanding deadlines and timescales.
You possess excellent teamwork abilities, can work independently, and have effective listening skills alongside highly developed interpersonal skills.
