Business Continuity Manager
We are seeking an experienced Business Continuity Manager to lead and enhance our Business Continuity Management System (BCMS). This role is essential for minimizing risk, ensuring preparedness for disruptions, and maintaining critical operations across the organization.
You will work closely with various departments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, championing resilience throughout the company. Responsibilities include maintaining the operational integrity of clinical systems, digital platforms, and supply chains during disruptions. Partnering with engineering, IT, compliance, product, operations, and executive leadership will be key to ensuring our continuity planning meets internal and regulatory standards.
Your Role
Develop and Implement BCMS: Lead the development, implementation, and enhancement of the BCMS to ensure organizational resilience.
Ensure continuous operation and resilience of clinical systems, digital platforms, and supply chains.
Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses.
Develop and deliver training and awareness programs.
Ensure compliance with regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA, ISO 22301).
Manage response and recovery efforts during disruptions.
Lead new implementations and ongoing development of the Business Continuity Management program.
Influence enterprise-wide risk mitigation strategies and maintain critical business functions globally.
Lead training, awareness campaigns, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Program Implementation and Engagement: Support program implementation and stakeholder engagement, which may involve up to 20% travel.
You're the right fit if you have:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in business continuity, resilience, risk management, project management, incident management, or operational risk, preferably in medical technology.
In-depth knowledge of ISO 22301 and 22361 standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Industry BC Certification (e.g., CBCP, MBCP, CBCI, MBCI) required.
Collaborative mindset and educational approach to promote a resilient culture.
Experience with continuity platforms (e.g., Everbridge, Fusion, Archer), KPI development, risk heat maps, and business impact analysis (BIA).
Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA is $123,000 to $190,000. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
