Philips SAP Support Officer in Eindhoven, Netherlands

The Philips Intellectual Property & Standards Department is an integral part of Philips. It is a significant contributor to the success of Philips on multiple levels. It helps develop and manage all types of intellectual property for Philips on a worldwide basis. We are dedicated to creating strong IP portfolios in and around our business propositions and to providing high quality, relevant IP services on a timely basis. We are also dedicated to extracting value from our IP portfolios through licensing and other commercial IP-based programs and transactions with third parties. In addition, we are actively engaged in developing and managing Standardization models that best serve Philips’ interest and mission as a global health technology company. And last but not least, we engage in various R&D activities to support our commercial IP activities.
Your role:
Create purchase orders directly in SAP, triggered by our IP Management system the Vault or SAP Ariba.
Monitor SAP by performing periodical checks to see if the system continues to run smoothly; solve potential issues.
Onboard new suppliers or change existing ones in our system by raising vendor master data requests.
Purchase physical goods online.
Answer questions from our Finance team so they can correctly book invoices on our POs.
Answer questions from our suppliers about invoicing, and inform them of the IP&S specific ways of working.
Work closely with the different Tactical Procurement managers.
Ensure that work instructions regarding the SAP Support Officer tasks are kept up to date and exceptions are documented.
Communicate with internal stakeholders to answer their questions or solve their problems relating to procuring goods & services, suppliers, POs, invoices, etc.
You're the right fit if you have the following skills and experience:
Intermediate vocational education (MBO).
Hands-on experience with SAP is a must.
Strong eye for detail, strong affinity with working in IT systems, dealing with correct set-up of data in systems.
Near-native Dutch speaking fluency.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Confidence, critical thinking, and experience in multitasking.
Relationship building skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a multicultural environment.
A positive and open team player attitude.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
