Manufacturing Process engineer
Your role:
As Manufacturing Engineer, you are responsible for the end-to- end manufacturing processes of CT detectors in the clean room environment, maintaining efficiency, reducing costs, improving sustainability, and maximizing profitability through tools and equipment of the manufacturing systems, leading to predictable, reliable, stable and efficient production processes.
In this position, you will play a crucial role in Haifa’s detection center, overseeing both established and new assembly processes and driving initiatives for manufacturing process optimization
Responsibilities:
Monitoring both automated and manual assembly processes in clean room environment
Support line-downs and troubleshoot problems associated with manufacturing processes
Initiating and overseeing process technology development activities
Accountable for process and manufacturing requirements based on Product Specifications
Provides active inputs on improving the manufacturability of new products at the release stage.
Identifying, designing, implementing and validating manufacturing processes, tools and equipment enabling quality and efficiency.
Preparation & Release of Work instruction, PFMEA, Process validation docs etc.
Executing processes with compliance to safety, regulatory- and environmental requirements as well as local laws, Philips General Business principles and other policies.
Education/Skills and Experience Requirements:
BSc. or master’s degree in mechanical/Mechatronics/Material/Chemical/Biochemical Engineering
3+ years’ experience in similar role as process engineer
Experience in problem solving and root cause analysis: Fishbone 8D, 4M methods
Familiarity with statistical analysis and DOE (JMP, Minitab, proficiency in Excel)
Excellent technical skills and knowledge of process-related standards
Experience in Quality Management Systems (preferably in the medical industry), SAP, Windchill
Preferably experience with process validation (PMAP, pFMEA, IQ, OQ, PQ)
Continuous improvement mindset, result driven with quality approach
Strong personal & communication skills in English

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
