Philips Modality Sales Specialist Ultrasound Indirect Channel Portugal in Lisboa, Portugal

Run and develop Ultrasound business through indirect channel in Portugal.

Your role:

  • Increasing adoption and market share for Ultrasound business in Portugal by supporting indirect channel Sales teams and Clinical Application teams.

  • Supporting sales team in creating proposal strategies, different business cases and proposal scenarios and winner tender replies (including tender documentation needs)

  • Being a part of US Iberia Team, supporting indirect channel in building a strong relationship with KOLs in Portugal and proposing and developing reference sites.

  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies and its events.

  • Getting in contact with Iberia business responsible team to provide inputs, trends, and needs.

  • As a Modality Sales Specialist Ultrasound Indirect Channel, you will work with our Indirect Channel Partner to ensure that our Portuguese customers have the right medical devices to meet the needs of their patients.

  • Through your trusted relationships and tactical account planning with our Indirect Channel Partners, you will maximize order intake, sales, price realization & customer satisfaction to deliver effective positive change and achieve sales forecast.

  • You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to gain business and product information that you can pass on to the Partners, and work with the Partners to analyze sales, market trends and competition.

  • Responsible for quarterly and monthly forecasting, OIT figures, etc.

  • Strategic customer visits with the partners

  • Planning trainings (clinical and sales) by either executing or involving appropriate stakeholders

You're the right fit if you have

  • 4-5 years of experience in the related field with the specific knowledge of the Ultrasound market and stakeholders in respective area and in the medical device sector

  • Experience in distributor and channel partner management would be valuable.

  • Excellent communication skills with a track record of creative problem-solving and relationship building.

  • Experienced in operations and sales with the ability to understand, interpret, and present complex data to a senior management level audience.

  • Portuguese and a very good level of English and additional Spanish would be a preference,

  • Availability to travel and located in Lisbon

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
