Philips Trade Compliance Intern in Lodz, Poland
Trade Compliance is a wide area of Customs-related activities, consisting of International Law, Logistics, Vendor & Broker Management, and others. From build and deployment to local execution and continuous improvement. It ensures that all import and export transactions are in conformance with the laws and regulations of the countries involved.
Your role:
Preparing for executing the declaration/correction procedure in time, in accordance with the customs legislations and requirements.
Execute statistical customs and VAT reports.
Helpdesk for internal customer inquiries
Executing (updating) Customs table management
Flagging possible problems and escalating when applicable
You're the right fit if:
You are a student who has completed at least 2 years of Bachelor's studies.
You are fluent in English, with at least a B2 level proficiency.
You are available to work 30-40 hours per week.
You are willing to work on weekends.
You have a basic knowledge of Excel and Word.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
