Philips Canada Rewards Sr. Manager in Mississauga, Ontario
Canada Rewards Senior Manager.
This role will lead Canada Total Rewards and also provide support for USA-based client groups in the area of compensation
Your role:
Provide subject matter expertise to HR managers, line managers and recruiters with rewards matters, grading and job evaluations, salary and benefits policies, international mobility practices etc.
Design rewards policies (Compensation and Benefits), processes and tools by collecting and analyzing results from local benchmarking partners and collecting business requirements and market developments
Manage Canada’s Annual Compensation Review process including presenting recommendations based on market benchmarking and training HR and Line Managers.
Manage Canda’s annual Benefits review, and pension plan administration to ensure market competitiveness and enhance employee value proposition
In-depth knowledge of pension plans required, including active participation and accountability in Pension Committee activities
Manage activities to ensure compliance with legislative requirements such as pay equity, employment equity
Market intelligence insights, oversee annual survey submission process for Canada
Develop and maintain Canada’s salary ranges and salary range design, and salary budget recommendations
Participate in Rewards-projects on a local, market and global level
Supervise and mentor one Total Rewards Specialist direct report
You're the right fit if:
You have acquired a minimum 5 years of experience in Rewards Management and/or Human Resources, including experience conducting Compensation Benchmarking, creating and implementing Reward Strategies, HR analytics, process improvement, and familiarity with grading/job evaluation methodologies.
Your skills include problem-solving, process improvement and operational execution, ability to navigate and influence within a global, complex matrix organization and proficiency in handling confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
You hold a Bachelor's/ master's degree in human resources, Business Administration or equivalent.
You’re a team player, and customer-focused. Adaptable, driven, creative, and diligent with the ability to learn on the fly. You also have strong organizational agility, reliability, and ability to handle ambiguity. Effective at influencing, engaging stakeholders globally, and aligning with business needs

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This is an office role.

Canada – Exempt (Salaried)
The pay range for this position is $91,840 to $144,320. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
