We are seeking a motivated, hard-working, Embedded Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic team focused on ensuring the quality and reliability of our medical devices.
Your role:
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for embedded software applications in medical devices.
Conduct manual testing of embedded software for medical devices, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and requirements.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to streamline testing processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify software defects, troubleshoot issues, and drive resolutions. Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Analyze test results and provide clear and concise reports to stakeholders, including recommendations for improvements. Document test results, defects, and test procedures accurately and comprehensively.
Stay updated on industry best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements related to medical device software testing.
You're the right fit if:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, C++, and/or C#. C# -
Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques.
Experience in manual testing, including test case design, execution, and defect tracking. Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks. Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position is $ 60,200.00 - 86,000.00.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
