Intern-Product Investigations Lab-New Kensington, PA-Summer 2025
Are you interested in an Internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) degree to participate in paid intern opportunities. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company.
Your role:
Supporting investigation activities including test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype systems, experimental design circuitry, or specialized test equipment.
Performing a variety of routine operations, usually under limited supervision. Using standard equipment and complex pieces of equipment.
Making technical calculations involving the use of engineering/mathematical formulas. Analyzing and creating schematic drawings and diagrams.
Assisting in the troubleshooting and remediation of equipment production failures.
Working from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.
Conducting operational, fault isolation, and detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in research or related work.
Recording test procedures and results, performs routine analyses and calculations, and recommends changes in equipment, procedures, or test methods.Testing machinery and equipment, consistent with engineering and other specifications.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00-28.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
