Philips Manufacturing Engineer in Reedsville, Pennsylvania
Your role:
Collaborating with R&D and operations to develop new processes and optimize new designs for manufacturability and assembly.
Providing technical support and performing root cause analysis for design, process, and quality issues found on the production floor. Resolving manufacturing and quality problems, including yield and nonconforming products.
Identifying, analyzing, and implementing cost reduction and continuous improvement solutions through Lean methodologies.
Working in partnership with other engineering team members in all phases of the transducer and system development process (i.e. plan, design, review, implement and test), while delivering results on time to meet the customer requirements.
Publishing documentation related to the release of systems to the production line (i.e. process requirements, DfX, PFMEA, process validation, manufacturing control plan, work instructions, etc.), as well as updating existing documentation.
Domestic travel expected up to 20%.
You're the right fit if:
You’ve acquired 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering. You have advanced knowledge in manufacturing production processes and have a solid understanding of how modifications to current products and new ones affect throughput, quality, performance, and cost.
Your skills include:
The ability to provide technical leadership in ambiguous situations.
Working knowledge of supply chain/manufacturing principles and implementation of Design for Excellence (DfX) inputs to designs.
Knowledge of Statistical Methods (Process Capability, SPC, Trend Analysis).
Strong analytical and methodical problem-solving skills.
You have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, or closely related discipline.
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
You’re a team player and have excellent communication, both written and verbal, and strong time management.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Reedsville, PA is $93,000 to $150,000.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
