Job title: Senior System Architect
for Personal Health Business
Your role:
Responsible for the scope and realization architectural roadmap
Deliver a consolidated architecture: creating well defined building blocks/system options & scenarios, choosing the optimal architecture, leveraging technology and contributing to/driving roadmaps
Supervising, guiding and safeguarding development and implementation of the architecture, managing the evolution of the system architecture and contribute to / driving related roadmaps.
Act within the total context (Business, organization, roadmaps, external world, etc): Driving for convergence; capturing/re-use of prior art; internal and external trends.
Work with internal customers, stakeholders, product managers and product owners to understand the upcoming requirements of the system
Perform decomposition and partitioning, re-using common and/or domain specific platforms and technologies.
Define scope and problem domain in a crisp and structured way: defining the problem with stakeholders and identifying key issues
Driving an accepted implementation of architecture, by explaining, convincing, deciding include validation and verification, team up with other function domains for results
Evaluate design alternatives, and performance cost benefit analysis
Ensure good and up to date documentation of the architecture and implementation using methods and tools for a structures approach
Serves as a mentor and coach to teams to make appropriate system and component design decision during implementations
Be the ambassador and local champion of system architect, closely connect with the principal architect and the global architect community on roadmap, architectural decision of programs/projects.
You're the right fit if:
Master or bachelor degree in engineering domain with at least 5 years working experience in domain.
Work experience on medical device and/or regulated business is preferred
Handson experience on product creation processes and design methods, such as modelling
Handson development experience of varies technical domains such as sensing, IoT, electro-mechanics system such as motor, hardware, firmware and manufacturing technologies
Handson experience developing complex system with multidisciplinary subsystem and components.
Ability to deal with complex situation, analyze and drive technical discussion and integral tradeoff discussion with multiple internal stakeholders and external parties.
Ability to lead innovation discussion with internal peers, technical team and suppliers
Being able to communicate with stakeholders globally, with good presentation skills in both Chinese and English.
Ability to write professional technical reports in both Chinese and English.
Experience and ability to work in complex business environment and ambiguity.
