Job description
As a Remote Service Engineer at Philips, you will provide exceptional technical support through remote diagnostics and on-site support to both our internal and external customers as well as field partners. You will combine your technical, networking and customer interaction skills utilizing the latest remote access technologies to assist healthcare customers, ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining our business targets. You are preferably located in Stockholm, Lund, Gothenburg or Umeå.
You are responsible for:
Acting as a Philips Representative in response to customer inquiries and providing telephone and remote technical support to our customers
Resolving customer service events by leveraging Philips tools and resources as needed
Timely escalation of customer product issues for evaluation and action by higher level support
Technical support for the local service organization
Follow-up and monitoring of performed service jobs
Perform security updates
Establish and develop good cooperation agreements with our customers and internally at Philips
Ensure that you are up to date on new technology that could potentially affect Philips products within your product portfolio
Certain parts of the job involve traveling and working onsite at customer sites
Driving increased productivity through utilization of remote tools and technical skills
Implementing best practices and process improvements while diagnosing problems, applying effective solutions and determining follow up actions

The S&SD organization and the Nordic remote service team reporting to the Remote Service Lead.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
You have a technical education at university level or similar, BsC / Candidate in medical technology
Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in engineering in medical technology in the areas of imaging systems, X-ray and Ultrasound.
Experience in technical remote support
Ability to troubleshoot, think logically and provide technical solutions authoring.
Strong time management and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with teams and customers
A good ability to meet customers and collaborate in teams are important qualities.
Fluent in Swedish and English (both are requirements)
Other Nordic languages are an advantage
Driving license

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
