Philips Health & Safety Specialist in Warszawa, Poland
We are seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Specialist to join our team at Philips. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in implementing, maintaining, and improving our Health & Safety Management System. Your expertise will help identify and mitigate significant H&S risks, drive continuous improvement in EH&S performance, and foster a strong safety culture among employees. You are responsible for:
Coordinating Health & Safety activities and projects across Poland,
Periodically providing EHS audits and verifying effectiveness of corrective actions implemented,
Investigating Health & Safety failures and verifying corrective actions,
Providing EHS and Fire Prevention training for employees, visitors, and contractors,
Implementing, maintaining and updating Philips Corporate Safety Standards,
Performing Risk Assessments in line with corporate standards and Polish legislation.
Supporting H&S in various work environments, including offices, repair center, field operations and other activities including activities at Customer and Supplier premises, trade shows, conferences, etc,
Driving continuous improvement in EHS performance and safety culture,
Ensuring compliance with local EHS regulations,
Provide technical expertise in accident investigations,
Supporting, coordinating and collaborating with another team member to implement EHS Plans and EHS goals for the country

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
Higher education, necessary according to Polish legal requirements in Occupational Health and Safety,
3- 5 years in EHS management experience,
Language skills: Fluency in English & Polish is required
This position requires travelling as a 10% of the time so driving license (B category) will be essential,
Experience of managing Safety Programs & Wellbeing campaigns
Being familiar with Occupational Health and Safety management systems standards such as ISO 45001 is required,
Demonstrated ability to set and lead priorities, resources, performance targets and project initiatives in a global environment,
Strong H&S risk assessment skills,
How we work together:
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week .
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
